The Capture Kyoto Retreat Revamped is now open for registration

It was a hot afternoon last week when I realised that I hadn't been delivering what my clients have been asking for. You have been telling me, either directly (or indirectly!) that I had missed the mark with Capture Kyoto Retreat.

So Capture Kyoto Revamped was born!

It's one day shorter because you said it was really difficult to get away from your family for two nights. It's also cheaper now that it's shorter (BONUS!) which makes it even easier for your to join. As soon as I re-released the retreat sign up with the new information, I quickly had my first very enthusiastic customer! Yay! There are now only 5 places left as I write this and the it's about to become 4 very soon!

So here is the new information:

Capture Kyoto Retreat Itinerary

Saturday September 30th

9:30-10AM: Meet at Kyoto Station then let’s head out to some of the great locations.

Tia will teach us about photo composition

Possible locations include:

Fushimi Inari: Shrine for business prosperity

Kinkakuji: The Golden Pavilion, or by request.

12:30 : Lunch

Get to know your fellow retreaters, discuss your latest business concerns

Lunch to be confirmed

Saturday PM

Free time! Or go to Gion with Tia and learn how to photograph Geisha and Maiko using correct etiquette.

5 pm: Head out to our beautiful accommodation at Lake Biwa

7pm: Welcome Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant with spectacular views

Get to know each other and celebrate our fun weekend away!

Sunday October 1st

7-10 am: Breakfast at your leisure, Photo chance with Tia at Lake Biwa

11 am: Check out by now

Head back to Kyoto station, Visit Nijo castle or other requested places.​

Practice your skills and see if you can win the "Best Photography of the Trip" prize.

12 pm: Lunch

Lunch to be confirmed.

2 pm: Ran Hotei Kissaten

For coffee and cake and table top photography with Tia.

OPTIONAL: Tea ceremony experience with Randy, Canadian Tea Master

4 pm: Say our farewells at Kyoto station and head back to reality!
